Join our team as a Casual Senior Assistant at Colour My Pot and bring your love for painting, creativity and connecting with people to life!

Immerse yourself in a unique creative experience at our Paint Your Own Pottery studio in Cleveland, Redland City, South-East Queensland.

We're on the lookout for a friendly, customer-focused, and responsible Senior Team Member to join us on a casual basis.

Your duties will include providing painting assistance and techniques to our amazing customers; handling payments; supervising junior staff during weekend birthday parties and school holidays; managing bookings via phone and email; restocking shelves and supplies; upkeep of the studio and equipment; dip glazing customer pottery pieces for firing, and loading and unloading kilns.

You'll have the opportunity to work weekdays and Saturdays; during school holidays; occasional night-time painting sessions from 6-9pm, and extra events including mobile off-site events.

Our hours vary between term-time and school holidays, with 2-3 shifts a week during term time (including 2x Saturdays a month) and 4-5 shifts during school holidays.

While previous ceramics experience is desirable, it is not essential as we provide full training. However, you must have the ability to paint and provide advice to customers. Moreover, if you have a knowledge of basic clay hand building techniques, that would be a fantastic advantage.

We're looking for candidates who can work independently, are flexible, well-presented, and maintain a professional attitude.
